A photo challenge and an update

We're starting a new photography group at Scrapsupply. It's open to anyone who wants to jump in at any time so check it out on the message board! For our first challenge, we were to take a self portrait and include our camera in the portrait so here I am with my Nikon D70.
And now for an update. Jewels came through her surgery ok. We will be waiting on the pathology reports. For now she's sporting a wicked looking scar but is home and healing.
