What are the requirements and benefits of design team members at Scrapsupply?

Scrapsupply designers are more of an editorial design team. We provide each team member with a gift certificate, free shipping, and a discount at our store in exchange for writing an article every other month and creating 2 to 3 layouts every month.
Team members are expected to participate online in our blog, message board and gallery but we do not have posting criteria or quota.
Team members select the product on their own by shopping online in our store and paying for their order with a monthly gift certificate. They receive free shipping on 1 order per month and a discount to our store for any items they wish to purchase above the gift certificate amount.
Team members are provided with a badge for entry to CHA if they choose to attend.
How long is the term for this position?

Scrapsupply design team members are not set on limited terms. They serve on our team as long as both Scrapsupply and the designer are both wanting to continue the relationship. Team members are able to step down at any time and Scrapsupply can request team members to step down at any time. Many of our team members serve for several years before moving on or stepping down.
When will the open call close?

We will notify candidates of their being selected on March 15th

We do our best to be low stress for our designers. Our team becomes part of our family here and we usually maintain close ties to our team members even after they move on. Our selection process will include not only your work but also your reputation. We are happy to take any referrals from previous teams you have been on. You will have the ability to select your article theme, your article topics, the products you work with and basically your own voice brought to our audience.
