Merlin

Sandra and Merlin drove from Alaska to Minnesota and, after spending some time camping "Up North," were ready for a photo shoot before heading back home. It was an incredibly hot day and Merlin was not completely thrilled with the weather but we persevered and got a few shots in anyway. Sandra, since I can't show you the photos in person look through them all and then we'll talk about prints. Can't wait until your next visit, Merlin!!!

omg sue! these are stunning. It is so hard to photograph black dogs, for me anyway. Your pictures are beautiful. I especially love the ones toward the end where he is laying his head down, you shot him straight on with his big brown eyes open. Just beautiful.

These are so fabulous, Sue! Merlin is such a great dog and you really captured his sweet personality in your photos. I know for a fact that Sandra is over the moon with these photos. I think some tears of joy were shed over how much she loves these photos.

Those are great!! Sue, you do such a lovely job of capturing animals. Do you have any pointers for working with black haired ones? I have two that I plan to snap some photos of soon, but I heard they can be harder to photograph. Do you think there's anything to that? Merlin is adorable. :)
