Photographing Rescue Dogs

I've been volunteering weekly to photograph dogs for Midwest Animal Rescue. I meet the transports that arrive every Saturday and get a few photos of each dog before they head off with their foster family. The situation is not ideal for photography as the dogs have often spent the better part of the day in a crate in a vehicle making their way to Minnesota and, once they arrive, are vetted and microchipped in addition to being photographed and introcduced to their foster family. Hopefully putting an engaging photo on the website will help them find their forever family much quicker. Here are a few examples of before and after shots to show what I've done to hopefully show the best qualities of each dog.

You go girl!!! If I were in the market for another dog your photos would make me want to consider one of the ones you photograph. What a way to help.
