My Fitness Coach

I bought this wii game awhile ago but haven't had the motivation/time/privacy (pick any excuse) to get it out and load my personal information so that I could get started. Well, on Sunday I got on the scale, got out my tape measure and got down to business! My trainer gave me a a fitness test including jumping jacks, push-ups, lunges, and crunches, and then recommended a primary area of focus for me. I was then asked to enter my goals in that area and she will plan daily routines to help me reach my goals. After sections of the workout, I was asked to rate the difficulty level of what I had just done and my routines will be adjusted based on the responses I gave. As part of my profile, I also was able to enter the exercise equipment I already owned so that my trainer can plan routines that incorporate those items. With my first routine I already used my step and hand weights. That step has been feeling neglected for far too long so it was good to get it out again!
It's also fun to pick my environment and music and I can switch that up each time I work out.
There is a scroll feature at the bottom of the screen that lets me know what's coming up next, as well as what equipment I'll need for the next exercise.
I was able to adjust the calendar to my schedule by entering how much time I had to work out each day of the week. My trainer will pick routines that fit within the time I have available each day.
I haven't used the progress feature yet since I just started yesterday but can't wait to see my results up there on my tv screen!!!
I'll keep you updated on my progress as well as how I like the game as I go along.

thats really cool Sue! I like that they tailor your workouts to days of the week and time limits...also incorporating equipment that you have on hand is really cool! I need to see if my wii fit has anything like this...it just scolds me for not working out on a regular basis LOL!
I also dont care for it when it makes that sigh* when I step on the balance board so it can weigh me ;-O
